Stowe Youth Baseball Adds Batting Cage

Thanks to the hard work of Majors Coaches Sandy Thompson, Craig Gants and Greg Allen, we’ve got the new batting cage up and operational and the first ball was smashed yesterday. This batting cage is going to be one heck of a tool to help all the Stowe Players become little MASHERS! The cage is located behind the Minors field and we have no scheduling at this point so please be patient as everyone gets used to our exciting new tool.

Thanks also to Matt Frazee, Bruce Godin and the whole Stowe Parks and Rec Department for assisting. The Cage will be there for use by all local ball players and is gifted to the town of Stowe. Also thanks to Ian Lanpher and Vickie Alekson and all the parents and families of those that came before. They left SYB in a good financial position that allowed for the purchase.
